在 SNA 的开放日上，我很惊喜地遇到了我的一位前学生薛丹妮，她在美国一所大学毕业后回访了她以前的高中。我记得薛丹妮是我教过的经济学的学生，也是我负责的法语俱乐部的成员。她总是心情很好，积极参与课堂活动。我很高兴薛丹妮对 SNA 也有美好的回忆。她对老师们感到非常满意，并且非常欣赏 SNA 在课程选择上给予的灵活性，这对她未来的学习很有帮助。

During SNA’s open house last June, I was pleasantly surprised to meet one of my past students, Danni Xue, who was visiting her former high school after recently graduating from an American university. I remember having fond memories of Dannie who was one of my past general economics students as well as a member of the French Club which I monitored. She was always in a good mood and participated positively in the classroom. I was delighted that Danni also had fond memories of SNA. She was very pleased with her instructors and she appreciated the flexibility that SNA gave her regarding her course selection which would later help her in her future studies.

　　薛丹妮于 2019 年毕业于 SNA 后，前往加利福尼亚大学欧文分校学习心理科学，她通过上夏季课程或在秋冬学期加课的方式，仅用三年时间就完成了通常需要四年的学士学位课程。在社交生活方面，她非常喜欢在欧文的生活。这座城市不仅天气温暖，当地人也非常友好和关怀，使得欧文成为一个干净安全的居住地。

Afterg raduating from SNA in 2019, Dannie studied psychological science at the University of California in Irvine, completing her Bachelor's degree in only three years instead o f the usual four, by either taking summer classes or extra courses during the fall and winter semesters. Regarding her social life, Danni enjoyed living in Irvine very much. The city was not only warm in terms of weather, but also in regards to its local population, who was very friendly and caring, making Irvine a clean and safe place for its residents.

　　完成本科学业后，薛丹妮于2023年9月从美国西海岸搬到东海岸，在纽约市的哥伦比亚大学继续攻读临床心理学硕士学位。虽然部分课程具有挑战性，但她对自己的进展感到非常满意。尽管薛丹妮非常享受在纽约的时光，她还是怀念加利福尼亚欧文的阳光天气。

Having completed her undergrad studies, Danni moved from the American west coast to its east coast in September of 2023 to continue her studies at Columbia University in New York City. She is currently doing her Master’s degree in clinical psychology and while some courses are challenging, she is very satisfied with her progress. While Danni is truly enjoying her time in New York City, she does miss the sunny weather of Irvine, California.

　　目前，薛丹妮计划在纽约度过夏天，并在与她专业相关的领域工作。她明年应该会完成硕士学位，之后她将报读博士课程，专注于家庭动态研究。我坚信她在未来的学术和职业道路上一定会取得巨大成功。 我 和 SNA 的其他老师都希望她梦想成真。祝好运，薛丹妮！！！

As of now, Danni plans on spending the summer in New York working in a position related to her field of study. She should be completing her MA next year and from there, she will enroll in a PHD program with a focus on family dynamics. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be very successful in all of her undertakings and I, as well as her past teachers at SNA, would like wish her the best in fulfilling her dreams.
