SNA New Year's Eve party

  前不久,苏州迎来了今年的第一场雪,我们才发觉冬至竟已悄悄临近。新年,听着很遥远,细数一下日子却近在眼前。12 月 28 日晚,苏 州北美国际高级中学全体师生欢聚于体育馆迎接 2024 年的到来。尚未正式开场时,乐队的演奏声和观众的欢呼声早已弥漫整个会场。在 一声声的呼喊与一次次的期待中,观众的视线纷纷投向了银幕,一场震撼人心的开场短片宣示着晚会的正式开始。

Recently, Suzhou welcomed the first snow of the year, and we realized that the winter solstice had quietly approached. The new year, sounding distant, is actually just around the corner. On the evening of December 28th, all the teachers and students of Suzhou North America International High School gathered at the gymnasium to welcome the arrival of 2024. Before the formal start, the music from the band and the cheers of the audience had already filled the entire venue. Amidst the shouts and expectations, the audience's gaze turned to the screen, and a breathtaking opening film declared the official start of the New Year's Eve party.

  本次开场短片特效带给观众史无前例的视觉震撼:由灯光模拟的激光光束刺穿银幕,在一片惊呼中,揭示了本次迎新晚会的主题——从心 出发。随后,主持人陆续登场,稍加活跃气氛后,同学们也开始了他们精彩纷呈的演出。

The special effects in the opening film brought unprecedented visual impact to the audience: laser beams simulated by lights pierced through the screen, revealing the theme of this New Year's Eve party - "From the Heart." Subsequently, the hosts appeared one after another, and after livening up the atmosphere, the students began their splendid performances.

  首先,由古典舞与丝竹乐开启回望的篇章——古典舞《唐印》、舞台剧《清明上河图》、民乐合奏与敦煌文化展将中国百年历史徐徐道来。 期间,敦煌研学带队老师姜兰玉介绍了敦煌研学的见闻与收获。从他的描述中,我们可以确切地感受到莫高窟的魅力。本次游学是一次可 贵的探索旅程:我们探索文化、探索历史、探索内心。王国维曾说,“以我观物,故物着我之色彩”。每个人眼中的敦煌皆不相同,只有 从心出发,方能领略敦煌古韵。现在,北美学子将那一抹顾盼生辉的敦煌色带到了北美舞台——伴随着声声筝鸣,古典舞的魅力流露其间, 似是大漠敦煌、盛世大唐都近在眼前。一曲古典舞尽显敦煌的魅力的同时,也呈现出了北美学子自己心中的敦煌色彩。

First, classical dance and traditional Chinese music opened the retrospective chapter - classical dance "Tang Yin," stage play "Along the River During the Qingming Festival," traditional music ensemble, and Dunhuang cultural exhibition unfolded China's centuryold history. During this time, the leader of the Dunhuang study group, Teacher Jiang Lanyu, introduced the observations and gains of the Dunhuang study. From his description, we could feel the charm of the Mogao Caves. This study tour was a valuable exploration journey: we explored culture, history, and our inner selves. As Wang Guowei once said, "I observe things, so things take on my colors." Everyone's view of Dunhuang is different, and only by starting from the heart can one appreciate the ancient charm of Dunhuang. Now, North American students have brought that touch of radiant Dunhuang color to the North American stage - accompanied by the sound of zither strings, the charm of classical dance reveals itself, as if the Dunhuang in the desert and the prosperous Tang Dynasty are right in front of us. While the classical dance showcases the charm of Dunhuang, it also presents the Dunhuang colors in the hearts of North American students.

  之后,管弦乐团的合奏把我们拉进国际视野,外教的弹唱让我们感受到西洋乐欢快的音律,古典、拉丁、华尔兹等舞蹈串烧带领我们见证 多元化的舞蹈领域,感受不同舞蹈的鲜明特色。秉持着“美美与共”的信念,北美学子以国际化的视角发现各种各样的美,而在舞台上熠 熠闪光的自己,又何尝不是美的代名词。我们还邀请到了往届学长学姐重回北美校园分享自己的经验、拾取熟悉的喜悦。

Later, the orchestral ensemble brought us into the international perspective, and the foreign teachers' singing and playing made us feel the cheerful rhythm of Western music. Classical, Latin, waltz, and other dance performances led us to witness the diversity of the dance field, experiencing the distinct characteristics of different dances. Upholding the belief of "beauty in diversity," North American students discovered various beauties from an international perspective, and the shining selves on the stage are synonymous with beauty. We also invited alumni to return to the North American campus to share their experiences and relive the familiar joy.

  本次晚会还有各种精彩有趣的小活动哦,抽奖已是常规操作,而最让同学们振奋不已的是“照片猜想”环节——同学们踊跃上台配对老师 们现在与小时候的照片,果断、自信、犹豫、猜想、比对……看得出大家久违的热情澎湃。在看到结果的震惊之余,在一阵阵尖锐的爆鸣 声中,酣畅淋漓的猜谜游戏画上了句号,不过想必老师们的手机提示音却是络绎不绝。 (小剧场:同学 A:老师,这是你吗?「发送图片」——老师:哈哈,还真是!)

This evening also featured various interesting activities. The lottery was a routine operation, but what excited the students the most was the "Guess the Photo" segment - students enthusiastically went on stage to match teachers' current photos with their childhood photos, decisive, confident, hesitant, guessing, comparing... You could see the long-lost enthusiasm surging. In addition to the shock of seeing the results, amid bursts of sharp applause, the lively guessing game came to an end, but I believe the teachers' phone notification sounds must have been endless.   想继续与老师们互动?别急,我们还有班主任舞蹈团——老师都还没登台,同学们已经全体起立并打开了相机闪光灯,台上台下笑声、欢 呼声连成一片,那场面叫一个热闹。——老师们跳,同学们闹,老师们玩梗,同学们笑。前有同学甄卷传,后有老师科目三。在一片欢声 笑语中,我们已经临近了晚会的尾声。

Want to continue interacting with the teachers? Don't worry, we still have the class teacher dance troupe - before the teachers even took the stage, all the students stood up and turned on their camera flashes. Laughter and cheers echoed both on and off the stage, creating a lively scene. Teachers dance, students make noise, teachers play jokes, students laugh. In a wave of laughter and joy, we are approaching the end of the evening.

  时光的脚步匆匆,在不经意间留下些许痕迹,却不曾被发现。小品《时间都去哪儿了》呼吁了芸芸众生对时间的感叹与深思,正所谓抖音 两分钟,外界两小时;相信同学们都想当一次《浮士德》里的主人公,在没赶完作业的前一天对天大喊一声:“就让这时间停止在这一刻 吧!”可惜,时间不会停止,我们也只能跟随着时间的脚步前进。2023 在欢声笑语中结束,而 2024 在众人的期盼中到来。回顾往昔, 我们业绩满满,展望新年,我们信心十足。

The footsteps of time are hurried, leaving some traces unnoticed. The sketch "Where Did Time Go?" expresses the sighs and reflections of countless beings on time. As the saying goes, two minutes on TikTok, two hours outside; I believe students would like to be the protagonist of "Faust" once, shouting to the sky the day before they finish their homework: "Let time stop at this moment!" Unfortunately, time won't stop, and we can only move forward with the footsteps of time. 2023 ends in laughter and joy, and 2024 arrives in everyone's anticipation. Looking back on the past, we are full of achievements, and looking forward to the new year, we are confident.
