在这个果实累累的季节里，成熟的橙子使树枝低垂，它们的金黄色 泽见证了丰硕的收获。橙子是苏州的一种重要作物，尤其在吴江区， 许多农民都在精心打理着他们的果园。不幸的是，这个果园的老主 人因病于十一月初离世，导致他的家庭在这段时间陷入了混乱。尽 管果园里的水果味美可口，但他们仍面临着销售困难，这给他们的 生计带来了严重的担忧。为此，SNA 常春藤之家的学生会发起了 一项旨在支持本地农民的活动。伟大的事业常常源自微小的起点。 我们的学生通过直接从当地农民那里购买橙子，不仅支持了这些家 庭，也享受到了高品质的水果。

In this season of abundance, tree branches are weighed down by ripe oranges, their golden hue a testament of the fruitful harvest. Oranges are a vital crop in Suzhou and many farmers tend to their orchards in the Wujiang district. Sadly, the elderly owner of this orchard passed away in early November due to illness. As a result, his family was in disarray during this period and despite producing delicious fruit, they still struggled to sell their produce which posed concerns for their livelihoods. Therefore, SNA Ivy House's Student Association initiated an initiative to support our local farmers. From small beginning come great things. By purchasing oranges directly from local farmers, our students were able to support these families while enjoying high-quality fruit.

　　到了 11 月 8 日，我们的“小浣熊突击队”农民援助慈善计划为橙 农们筹集了总计 15,144 元。作为我们努力的回报，我们有幸目睹 了农民们因丰收而溢出的喜悦，那些美味橙子散发的香气弥漫了整 个学校。

By November 8th, our "Little Raccoon Assault Team" charity assistance program for farmers garnered a total of 15,144 yuan for the orange farmers' benefit. In return for our efforts, we were privileged witnesses to both the jubilation stemming from a plentiful harvest among the farmers and the delightful aroma permeating our entire school emanating from these succulent oranges.

In the process of assisting the farmers, the students also gained a profound understanding regarding the diligence of growing oranges. Just as it takes an eternity for trees to flourish, it necessitates years of unwavering commitment to educate and nurture individuals. Farmers accomplish this by meticulously selecting the appropriate tree species and employing impeccable planting techniques, thereby fostering optimal growth conditions for fruit-bearing trees. Analogously, the essence of learning lies in its imperative for gradual cultivation, relentless accumulation, and unyielding dedication. Over time, individuals can refine their professional aptitude and moral fiber, thus empowering them to make meaningful contributions to society.
